Fifty-four New Citizens Naturalized

Fifty-four new citizens were naturalized at a special ceremony as part of this year's Indpendence Day.

The ceremony, which took place in the courtroom of Chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood, occured on Monday, July 3, 2017.  Captain Hans E. Sholley, Commanding Officer, Navy Base Guam was the keynote speaker for the event, and Ms. Kristine Young was the guest singer.  The new citiizens hail from the Republic of Guatemala, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of China (Taiwan), and the Republic of the Philippines.
